The pards catch Requin and force him to reveal that the guns will arrive in Boston on the sailing-ship Normandie. However, the scoundrel manages to inform the corrupt cop, Corbett, accomplice of the traffickers, and the gang tries to kill the rangers on board the ship. But the pards save themselves and counterattack, and as for the gang leader, Beaumont, who had betrayed the Corsican revolution by fleeing with the movement’s money, he is killed by Julie Calvi, orphan of his old fellow-fighter Armand! Some time later, in Tulac, two deserting soldiers are killed by a couple of ruthless good-for-nothings before Tex’s and Tiger Jack’s eyes...
