One of the most unbelievable stories that Dix finds himself in begins, after the phone call from a strange antiques dealer asking him for an expertise about a painting presumably made by one of Rembrandt’s pupils. Jan willingly goes to the dealer’s shop– but that’s the last time everybody sees or hear from him.
