During a performance held at the school Allegra goes to, Napoleone meets Myriam Mac Grady, the girl’s English teacher. Myriam is a charming, friendly and apparently cheerful lady of Irish origin who makes Geneva her home. But there’s a terribly sad story buried in her past, above all in the bygone days of her grandparents: and it somehow seems to have some strong links with “Alcestis” by Euripides, precisely the play chosen for the students’ performance. The Greek tragedy intersects with real life, while, in the world beyond the stars, the epilogue of the whole affair can hardly wait for the cue signaling the time for its own entry on stage…
